Kain Sampin Kanak-Kanak has been woven based on the mangosteen bamboo shoot motif as the source of the cloth. The emblem of the mangosteen tampuk motif on this songket cloth carries the meaning of gentleness, sincerity of heart and wisdom in speaking. In addition, scattered flower motifs woven using multi-colored metallic threads consisting of blue, gold and red are also used to decorate songket cloth. The weaving produced by the Puncak Borneo prison community takes 2-6 months to be fully completed.
