A year ago, I began producing ecoprint goods. I initially tried learning via YouTube, but I joined online learning since I didn't feel good, especially on how to design colouring pages. By studying online, I'm learning more and more every day. The ecoprint method has two applications: the pounding system and the mordant system. (boiled) We apply the leaves directly to the fabric we wish to design using the pounding procedure, which employs a hammer. When the leaves have been thoroughly pounded (usually for small fields like tote bags, t-shirts, and pillows), we take them and add mordant to intensify the colour.
The ecoprint shawls are beautifully designed by Dato' Asfarena Samion Mon using the ecoprint technique. The term ecoprint (eco-printing) refers to a technique of colouring and printing on various media using flowers and leaves from nature to get the patterns and colours with the help of natural dyes and other natural coloring materials. It is environmentally friendly as there is no chemical residue and also have very unique, diverse and exclusive motifs as the motifs on each sheet of fabric become very distinctive and almost certainly there are no similar and exclusive motifs
